FIRST TIME DAD
When my wife was pregnant with our first child, she came home from the doctor with a little black and white sonogram I had never seen a sonogram before.
She showed me where the doctor said the baby was pictured. And all I kept wondering was why they did not make it in color. So, I took that sonogram and did a series of serigraphs.
I was so excited to be a first time dad I got carried away and did 33 runs of color to make this artwork. I added a baby that was still in the womb, along with a quote from Psalm 139.
"16 Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.
17 How precious also are Thy thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
14 I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (NASB 1977)
